Women’s Leadership Retreat

We are delighted to invite you to 海角原创鈥檚 third annual Flourish Women鈥檚 Leadership Retreat. Our goal is to encourage pastors’ wives and those leading women鈥檚 ministries in the local church to continue personally flourishing in their walk with the Lord.听
2026 Retreat Speakers
Claudia Barba
Claudia Barba is familiar with the demands and joys of ministry. After growing up as a pastor鈥檚 daughter, she married Dave Barba, who during their 50 years of marriage has been a pastor, church planter, and itinerant evangelist.
Claudia and Dave now travel helping new and struggling churches through Press On! Ministries. Claudia is the author of five Bible study books and The Monday Morning Club, a book of encouragement for women in ministry. The Barbas have three adult children and seven perfect grandchildren.
Rebecca Brock
Rebecca Brock is a gifted women鈥檚 teacher with a passion for the local church and women鈥檚 ministry.听She graduated from MBU with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Communication Arts and has since earned an MEd听in English and听an MA听in听Bible.听Rebecca teaches听Expository Teaching for Women听and women鈥檚 ministry courses in the College of Bible and Church Ministries at MBU where her husband, Bryan, is a Bible professor.
The Brocks live in Oconomowoc, WI with their four children, and are on staff at their local church. Rebecca enjoys bargain shopping, decorating, cheering her children on at sporting events, and sushi dates with her husband!
Important Details
- Check-in will be on Monday between 4:00-5:15 PM, with dinner beginning at 5:30 PM.
- Dorm housing is available (bring bedding for a twin size bed).听
- Please dress comfortably. Casual summer dresses or casual pants and a blouse would be appropriate. We want this to be a refreshing, laid-back retreat.
