In the first of these two interviews, you will meet Dr. Michael Zwolanek, an MBU professor, who discusses the value of studying history. 聽With engaging examples and a touch of humor, he explains how recognizing contexts, understanding why people did what they did, and how humbly admitting that each of us is capable of the same, helps us make corrections and chart what more needs to be done.
You will also meet Mike Herbster, the director of Southland Christian Ministries, a Christian camp in Ringgold, Louisiana. Mike identifies the elements of intentional design that can make a week of camp a life-changing experience. He stresses helping campers 鈥渋nitiate passion for God, identify their purpose, and ignite their potential.鈥 He also notes recent changes in campers precipitated by continual exposure to digital media.
